CARMEN CONSOLI mio zio (w/PATTI SMITH)
On June 27, 2010 Patti Smith joined Italian artist Carmen Consoli onstage at the MTV Days festival, for a chilling version of Mio Zio (My Uncle). The song is off of Consoli’s album “Elettra”, which came out earlier this year. The original version however, does not have Patti on it.
In other Patti Smith news, Morrissey was spotted at her show in Hyde Park yesterday where she dedicated Redondo Beach to him.
